If they put ole miss ahead of bama last week, then lsu should be ahead of ole miss this week.

Even the media can't help but give Toddy a boost. They are rarely relevant so they gotta make it last.

The argument there is that they beat Alabama and were very competitive against Auburn unlike our 41-7 display that night. Don't worry so much about the polls--just win, baby.

Can't argue with that logic at all.

Just win out and at the end LSU will be the highest ranked two loss team unless Auburn and/or State also end up with two losses.

Actually, to be fair, the replay official beat OleMiss. Treadwell was down (broken leg stump impacted the ground) before he fumbled. Ole Miss should have had the ball 1st and goal on the half yd line.

That is the AP projection not CFP, not really any movement in the AP

My big issue with this is when was the last time a team had back to back losses and dropped less than 10? Usually your first loss you can have a small drop for a close game but losing the second straight typically comes with a decent fall.

If we dominate them maybe? If we just barely beat them then no way we are 6th lol

It defies any sense of logic. Ole Miss lost to LSU. Besides, within the SEC west Ole Miss will be behind LSU because LSU beat them. What else is there to say. The reality is that they cannot drop the Rebs too much because that would make the committee either stupid or corrupt. The latter seems far more likely.
