07 was the last year that it was a full on, balls to the wall party.

Nice job.

Getting laid at that party was on a first come first serve basis.

Zachary, really?

I grew up in Central so I consider myself an expert on knowing their douche bag, affliction wearing, red bull and vodka drinking, sucker punch at a bar kind. I live in Zachary now and I honestly have never seen any of the youth here even close to being lumped in with those types.

Someone please explain.

There was a girl who did too much acid and hid in a giant bush pretty much the whole night and cried. I felt bad for her.

Yeah I do vaguely remember the cops intruding sometime in the mid-2000s and shutting it down early. That was the last one I went to. Never heard of a reason why they did that.

2004 was pretty good.
I still feel like shite from Carlotta 2001. Some random muslim kid was walking around and I kept calling him Bin Laden because I thought it was a costume. I felt horrible when I realized, he just happened to be a tall muslim with a rag on his head.

Wasn't there an issue with paying for permits to have it? This is the old thread on the year they cancelled it: LINK

No, 2011 was the last year they did it. And to be honest, it was kind of lame in 2011. They had a bunch of shitty DJ's as "official" entertainment, and it was kind of taken over by food trucks and stuff. So 2010 was basically the year it died, but damn it was great. Outside of LSU athletics it was basically my favorite thing about Baton Rouge.
