The kid is listed as a DE, 6'5", 243. Hilliard threw him out like a used Kleenex.

Awesome GIFs!
I just noticed the role of Pocic. By hustling downfield he forced the bad angle. The defender had to go deeper to clear Pocic, and that's why he was in front of Hilliard. It's often the small hustle plays that make the difference. That guy Pocic LIVES at the second level. He doesn't have the power of a Vadal or Lael, but he pulls well and slips to the second level like a quality NFL lineman.
Also, one day we'll look back on this era of talent at LSU and say, "Kenny Hilliard was third string." Mother Goose! That's a talented third string running back!

I wonder if Hilliard has seen these.

KH27---hard to imagine him being 3rd string anywhere...great Tiger!!!

Agreed. Heard some of the idiotic talking heads saying 54 simply took a bad angle and over-ran the play. What a pant-load! KH is a man.

Well, it's true. Most of the impetus that sent 54 flying was generated by 54, not Hilliard. It was a great run, but throwing 54 was the third best thing Hilliard did on that run. It was the best part of the show, though.
If you think otherwise, ask yourself this: why doesn't Hilliard throw someone like that on all his runs?

No one said the defender's mass and velocity weren't contributing factors. However your assessment is not bathed in logic. Ask yourself this; why doesn't 54 fly through the air and explode eveytime he misses a tackle.

Is there a gif Hall of Fame we can start somewhere?
A collection of the OBJ and Jarvis Landry catches, PP7's tipped interceptions and I would imagine someone would have Cory Webster's tipped INT against Georgia in 03.

The one he didn't score on was more impressive I think.
