Best I've seen this year besides Boyhood. Gyllenhaal's performance is his best ever. I forgot it was him and thought it was a legit maniac. I'll be shocked if there's 5 performances I rate higher than his by the time noms come out. Should get one, but won't.

Just got out as well. The SO said Jake G was amazing but she hated the movie. It creeped her out.
I on the other hand thought it was a great movie. I imagine some reactions are going to be similar to some reactions to a Hitchcock film when they were released. Most like it while a lot are disturbed.

I saw it, gyllenhall needs an oscar for that performance, creepy as hell, great look into the life of a successful psychopath

Watched it last night. Awesome performance by Gyllenhaal. I found the subject matter of the movie to be extremely interesting as well. Makes me want to go stroll through New Orleans with a camcorder.
