Have you ever wanted to cry after a hair cut?

I let a dude cut my hair. He shaped my sideburns like I was ethnic. He shaved my hair in ways I have only seen on black dudes or Hispanics. I then went to a barber and got a high and tight.

Real men don't cry.

Just shave your head and let it all grow back.

Just do this every time, it's much easier.

Or buzz it yourself at home. I do it every few weeks.

I cried after a bad dye job.

Stylist got his assistant to touch up my blonde highlights the day of a wedding in New Orleans. I went early in the AM.

She looked at my file and accidentally dyed my roots the color of my lowlights (meaning she dyed my blonde hair brown at the roots). I had to leave for New Orleans so I couldn't even get it corrected.

I had to wash my hair with New Orleans water, which makes it greasy. So that combined with mis-dyed roots... I cried before the wedding.

Turned out okay in photos.

I've only cried once, and it was after a color, not a cut.

And although both my recent haircuts have been good, I want to cry because I cut off 16" of hair and it's very traumatic. I think I'll go and get extensions put in.

My first memory is of a bad haircut. My mom just kept saying "your father is going to be so angry"... She meant it about the hairdresser, but I thought she was saying it to me and it was somehow my fault.

I cried.

No. Why? Because I'm not a woman. I walk in and ask for a standard cut. If the barber asks 10 questions about my preference for a standard cut, I walk out because obviously he/she's in the market to cut hair for girly men who cry over haircuts.
