George Strait and Alan Jackson's music is more in the mold of the George Jones, Don Williams, and Roger Miller types.
that's what makes it terrible.

That confirms to me that you have no clue what pure country music is about and only want to focus on the "outlaw, badass" types. Don't get me wrong here, I love Willie, Waylon, and Johnny Cash as well. There's just way more to good country music than that. Go back and listen to some Hank Williams, Sr. His music can be seen in all of those mentioned above.

George Strait
Last time he came to town my parents got me tickets in the fourth row because that was the only big thing I wanted for Christmas. Last minute I ended up ditching my gf to take my mom. It was the best show either of us have seen. The show was all about the music, and he rocked it. If he ever tours again you better believe that I'll be there. He was the end of an era. He was the last big time true country singer. Some guys like Kyle Park are making a comeback but it'll never be the same.

Zac Brown is the biggest d-bag though

His song "Chicken Fried" has got to be the worst song EVER made. But it's not his fault, it's the fault of people actually liking that abortion of a song and making it popular

Not a huge fan of their music, but I saw them live at Wrigley Field - those dudes can really, really play. They're kind of like the John Mayer of country music - they are so damn talented and people know they could do so much more, but they sort of take the easy way out and make buku dollars instead.
