Dressing your way out of the 'friend zone" - some advice

Just don't let it happen. If you like a girl, ask her out. If it doesn't work out then toss her. I used to let girls take advantage of me because I thought they would like me if I "was there for them" when they needed someone. Thankfully I had a friend who knew what the hell he was doing and told me to stop talking to certain girls and to my surprise at the time, one of them slept with me after I ignored her for a few weeks.

all you need to do is buy a $350 shirt, wear it like a sissy, and buy a $750 pair of sunglasses. then again, if she knew you had $1100 of disposable income to spend on this meaningless shite, you might not be in the friendzone to begin with.

Esquire is awful. Salon is worse.

That whole entire article was a joke right?

"Don't be trendy!"
-spend 3500 mother fricking dollars on a damn jacket. Also accessorize with trendy jeans, a hipster shirt, expensive shades, and a fruity arse sweater.

This is why I could literally never, under any circumstance, live in L.A.

So Esquire is basically one long advertisement at this point? "Buy this $350 shirt to get laid!" That's barely even an exaggeration.

I needed to buy a magazine for a class I'm taking (needed to find an example of "false advertising") so I picked up a Maxim. Haven't read one in about 6 or 7 years, but they used to crack me up, so why not. The thing was about 70% straight up advertisements, and about a third of their "articles" were advertisements in disguise. And none of it was funny.
