Any Posters On here Still Wishing LSU Was Like

Texas A&M?

These comments are so stupid. I don't want to have the A&M offense, but I don't want to waste skill players either. Is it too much to ask to have some threat of a pass?

I am all for being able to grind out games, but we still need to pass. Last year's offense was great. No complaints. I think we'll get there eventually. We are really young. Two of the three top WR are true freshman and our quarterbacks are both underclassmen. At some point you need to try to open it up though. That doesn't mean having a Texas A&M offense.

A balanced offense attack with a mix of run and pass to keep defenses from stacking the box is what all of us want. To be at the top having only a running attack will not work.

At some point all these great receivers and QB's will not be attracted to play for LSU

If being a Tiger fan burying your head in the sand and crying run the ball is what you want, then be happy with 9 or 10 wins a season. Les Miles does not want that and I promise you if he had the QB to throw the ball it would be happening.

Jennings performance this year is mostly bad in my opinion and to contend for the final 4 spots in the BCS title hunt next year there will have to be either changes or major improvement Period

I am ok with a run the ball first attack but without the forward pass being a threat in the SEC West you will not contend

No I do not want to copy A&M or Oregon or Baylor offense attack however it would be nice to show this 4 or 5 receiver attack on occasion to keep the defensive on its heels. Have a QB to throw and complete 15 yard routes, find a second receiver if the fist look is covered.

GO TIGERS

Have you read this thread and seen all of the hatred towards Blackwell?

I don't really care if there are posters that hate Blackwell.

And WB has made a couple of tweets that he'd probably like to take back.

I don't know if that's true, but if so, who hasn't said things they'd like to take back?

That's what I'm talking about. Not sure why you couldn't grasp that.

I meant that I didn't know what tweets you were referring to. I wasn't being sarcastic, but with the pervasive sarcastic tone on this board, I can see why you would take it that way.

Air raid pass happy teams are soft. LSU is as tough as they come physically and mentally. Only an idiot would like to switch positions with a team as soft and a program as mediocre as that.

I didn't see the posts about Posters wanting LSU to be like Texas A&M. Don't they run like an 'air raid ' offense and throw nearly every down. That would be a crazy idea for LSU to go to.

Yeah you look like a genius now beefence.

Sumlin prepared a true freshman qb to go on the road at auburn and light it up. Our true fr qb completed 3 passes against that same crap defense.

Yet our sophomore qb just completed 8 passes in a game that ended in OT.

I am in no way asking for a fricking air raid offense but in terms of qb development Sumlin is ahead of miles
