Sounds like a fair-weather fan if there ever was one. I thought part of being a real fan was being there for your team in the good times AND the bad.

I agree with him, and not for the same reason.

These comments are so stupid. I don't want to have the A&M offense, but I don't want to waste skill players either. Is it too much to ask to have some threat of a pass?

I am all for being able to grind out games, but we still need to pass. Last year's offense was great. No complaints. I think we'll get there eventually. We are really young. Two of the three top WR are true freshman and our quarterbacks are both underclassmen. At some point you need to try to open it up though. That doesn't mean having a Texas A&M offense.

Yes, because it's the coaches fault we had 3 crucial mistakes in the red zone.

We beat down Ole Miss and it was glorious

Yes but wouldn't you also agree that we shouldn't do this UNTIL they are ready to do this. What exactly entails opening it up. The reason why some of our defenses have been good (not the only reason) is because we can sustain drives and eat up the clock and wear down opposing defenses WHILE giving our defense a break. These wide open/quick scoring offenses are terrible for defenses...hell they stay on the field all day.

I would be very happy with about 22-25 pass plays per game. I honestly don't want to be 50-50.

Enjoy your wannabe gotcha thread

I remember posters with avatars of Kevin Sumlin in LSU gear when he was at houston. Same for Dana Holgerson.

No one wants to throw the ball 60 times a game. So idk what the hell this thread is supposed to accomplish.

People just want to be able to convert a third down and have an efficient offense.

Glad to see we only got $5k for storming the field; it should have been $50k. You don't rush the field when you compete for championships.
I wish he would have competed for a championship on 1/9/12

I hated him since his tweet after the rematch. Can't say I disagree with the fact that LSU was out-coached in that game but let's be honest, that line got their nuts fed to them the ENTIRE game. A man would have at least acknowledged that much. His tweet smacked of a whiney child's.

I noticed the lack of A&M in your post
Which is what OP was talking about.

Again this thread is a straw man

Nice post. This is spot on - both of the points made above, especially the first one! You are two question marks from perfection.

Like many athletes who hit send on some of their tweets when they shouldn't, Will Blackwell joins that list. I just went and read a bunch of his tweets, and he's a big Tiger fan. Why all the venom for a young man and former Tiger?

I'm not sure what exactly you're talking about, but I don't see a problem with giving an honest opinion. Some people have an idea that if you're ever critical, you're a "Nega". It's absurd.

And I'll say this about Blackwell -- during a time period of shoddy guard play, he was a consistently strong player.

Have you read this thread and seen all of the hatred towards Blackwell? And WB has made a couple of tweets that he'd probably like to take back.

That's what I'm talking about. Not sure why you couldn't grasp that.
