This has been addressed as well but there are those who swear the personnel are capable. It's imperative that LSU develop a capable passing game. I think Harris will be that guy in a year or so.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I don't like when former players bite the hand that once fed them. I am not privy to what goes on behind closed doors, but I would be willing to bet that Will Blackwell was a better person and football player for having been around Les Miles. And an overwhelming majority of former players have Miles' back for years after they leave here, so that tells me if Blackwell is in any way pissed at Les about something, then it is his own fault.

while I agree with you that Harris has a lot of upside, I'm not so sure that Jennings doesn't continue to improve and be a pretty darn good qb...maybe as early as the bama game. People don't give him credit, he made some mistakes in the second half...but he played a pretty good darn good first half the other night against a good defense.....I look for him to do well against the bama secondary....jmo.

Make a chip shot field goal and not have your stud back fumble at the 1 yard line and you have 20 points. Not have a random inadvertent whistle on the drive where you missed the FG and you likely have a TD there, which puts the total up to 24 points. I would be ok with 24 points vs. the nations top ranked defense coming in. But spin it how you like.

If that's what you took away from that performance, I don't think you will ever get it....seriously. I know you are probably trolling....but that's a 0/10.

Maybe, but from what I've seen, not yet.

Could be.

I think our team next year is going to be really good.

Um, Texas A&M is 2nd in the conference in total offense and they score one more TD than us per game.

I'm happy with how LSU is playing, and I never said I wished we were more like A&M. However, let's keep the discussion honest and in perspective.

ETA: shite, my ban bet. I forgot. Logging off.

Glad to see we only got $5k for storming the field; it should have been $50k. You don't rush the field when you compete for championships.

I'm really starting to hate this dude. Sorry but the students aren't the ones competing for championships, and if they feel emotionally inclined to rush the field after a great game, then by god let them do so. The players on the actual team loved it, sorry Will.

I think Jennings is a spot player at best. The Bama game will definitely be a litmus test for him IMO. He's had almost a year of experience being the guy, we'll see if he's developing or not. This next game is his chance to make a huge statement.

I didn't expect much from the passing game, but did think the defense would be better early in the season. It's come along nicely, which covers for some of the passing issues.

The A&M v LSU extreme animosity sort of baffles me. Seems like both fan bases started out just fine, with mutual respect, when they first joined the SEC. Then the Aggies became the SwAggies: icy whites, SwagChopper, barbershop and DJs, etc. And when they won the first week SEC championship and Heisman with Kenny Trill, they became unbearable. I hope most of us are sick of the whole Speedy thing and just let it die.
