For a show that started so well ... Wow has this show gone down hill. Last nights episode was bad

I haven't watched last night yet, but this season has been really up and down.

Yea, it's another one of those shows that I watch just because I can't ever quit a show - no matter how awful it gets.
Last night was really bad. The show is a shell of its season 1 self.

Sucks to hear that last night was down, cuz I think this season has been pretty solid so far.

observational humor (fantasy football related) that people relate to with a touch of the absurd
now it's full blown absurd, there isn't much fantasy football and the observational humor is contrived
add to the fact that the banter seems less genuine at times like they know the audience is watching and they now take singular funny moments and just reuse them over and over "forever unclean"

I love this show, but am in full agreement that this season is by far the worst.

I don't think I've ever seen it before, but I caught part of last night's episode. I thought the mistaken intervention was pretty funny

Much like Entourage, it was cool when it was just guys bullshitting around, now it's so contrived and out there.

I still think it's good, but two things that bug me is their feeling that they need to shove cameos into episodes (although that's died down a bit lately), and they always seem like they have to force a sexual innuendo/pun into every situation.
I still really like the show though.
