That is the Flume trail...,lake is Lake Tahoe. It's a very well known must do trail for hikers and mountain bikers if they visit Tahoe in non winter months.

Parts of it scary as hell.., very narrow and if you fall off the side...,you dead

He asked why someone would go to aspen in the fall

Then bashed hiking as a hobby, others followed suit

You mad we aren't talking about weddings?

I don't think the we didn't know when the Bama game was is a valid excuse. It pretty much falls early November every damn year. Poor planning on her part. It has been the first or second Saturday of the month for a long, long time. I have gone all the way back to the 70s looking at the schedule. Every one has been the first or second Saturday of November. There are a few times in the 60's when it didn't occur. Only because we didn't plan Bama that year.

Purposefully scheduled mine for the 25th of August knowing it would never be anything more than NFL-Preseason Football.

Also had an LSU theme that was officiated by former LSU AA Tyler Lafucci.

Lastly, we had a TV in the Bar area that had the Saints Preseason game on. With 75 people at Nottoway Plantation.

shite was dope.

Eff that bride and her groom for not intervening. They'd get a nice Bed Bath and Beyond Giftcard in the mail.

When one Lafayette bride-to-be said “I do” she had no idea the date chosen for her most special day would fall on the exact same day as the LSU-Bama game.

This is really stupid wording used to open up your article. He was trying to word it cute and mixed up saying "I do" at the wedding and simply saying "yes" during the proposal.

We scheduled ours the week after the SEC Championship game. It worked out awesome. Got married on Saturday in New Orleans. Saints played on Sunday. I went to the game with my groomsmen on Sunday, and we left for the honeymoon on Monday.

I have an understanding with my good friends that I will miss their wedding unless it's a bye or a horrible cupcake game. At least they won't be shocked when I send in that "no" reply.

We got married at the end of February and had great weather and turnout. There's absolutely no excuse to schedule a fall wedding in Louisiana. It's selfish, lazy, or a combination of the two.

I've really come to despise the current wedding culture. I know couples who have close to 5 engagement parties/showers, full blown bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc all for literally 4 hours of your life.

It's exhausting, and I'm not even the one getting married

Went to LSU and still thought a wedding was a good idea that time of year.

I had to deal with this bullshite last weekend at a family wedding. Any a-hole raised in the South knows its a sin to schedule a wedding on an SEC football saturday. Even GOD does not forgive this.

I don't have a problem with that. She should have as many parties as she wants.

She just shouldn't make the mistake that everyone else cares as much about her wedding as she does. Certainly don't call them out on having their own interests and antagonize them about it. She wants people to come to her wedding, schedule it at a time that ensures that most will be able to make it. Pretty simple.

So much this. I blame pinterest for that and the baby culture as well. Bunch of attention whores.
