After watching the game again for the umpteenth time, the FBs missed a few blocks which would have resulted in more yardage, but they played a hell of a game. Neighbors is always in the right position, and Jones is a freaking MAN out there...6'4 and every bit of 250, with speed and power.

They are improving and were fun to watch against OM.

Connor Neighbors is that grunt that goes absolutely NAM, into the hole, no questions asked, into the heart of darkness, destroys whatever comes before him, and crawls out the other side with nothing to show but blood and guts for his sacrifice.

Love that evaluation.

Connor Neighbors is probably the third best fullback we have on the team. I'd put him behind Melvin Jones and Hilliard is probably a better fullback. I still notice as many times as not that Neighbors goes for the block, can't keep his feet, and collapses the running hole.

You've got me figured out! I love our fullbacks. It just makes me shake my head when people are so bad at evaluating talent that they think Neighbors is a stop gap.

Like the idiot who posted right above this. He thinks the coaches are starting the third best guy.
