In my neighborhood in the mid 90s it got to the point where there were more outside kids being driven in to trick or treat than neighborhood kids trick or treating.

So they started a block party usually the Saturday before where they gave the kids candy and had games and stuff, adults drank and watched football.

So Halloween night most houses didnt have candy and porches were dark.

So, trailer trash tots can't have the good candy?

A democrat certainly didn't organize your block party.

Yes it's like the 5 biggest clubs in town and they block off the streets, I'll be in L.A. for Halloween though.

It's only legit if the association hires a police detail to block the entrance, and has a guest list.
