Fournette has dominated the carries for the last few weeks, but Magee and Hilliard have been more productive. Is there any chance we see a more even split of the carries against a more physical Alabama team?

Nah

Eta- LF is our man. KH and TM compliment that and can be extremely productive when giving LF a break... It's a really nice luxury to have.

LF must meet LC. I don't care how many carries it takes.

I think we need an even rotation and see which back is running better, then start giving it to him more

I like what we do.
Magee seems better running in this role.
I also like having a fresh power back like Hilliard late in the game.

We have 4 running backs averaging 5 yards or better on the season. we definitely have improved.

I was kinda surprised to see Hilliard's carries decrease by so much after he was the star of the Wisconsin game.

He played really well against OM though - only back with more than 5 carries and no fumbles.

No doubt LSU will try to pound them like OM, but they did throw some on early downs. I expect the same philosophy if the defense is holding up their end. Maybe LSU will hit a long one in this game. LSU can win this.

Rotation has largely gone like this. LF and TM in first half. TM in on most obvious passing downs. Hilliard in second half as fresh back. Williams has been worked in wherever.

They finally started to throw some with LF in the game which should help open some things up for him.

We're starting to see the benefits of having a running back by committee with 3 or 4 guys who can run effectively.

It's later in the season and we have fresh backs. Classic Miles approach.

So you guys want to start the stupid rotation we had earlier in the season where each back got 2-3 carries before he was MIA for an entire quarter or more huh?

LSU had a 12 minute advantage in offensive possession. That eliminates a lot of opponents time to score. Fresh RB's are always in favor of LSU. They accept the fact they will not be 1400 yard rushers. Miles does the same by subbing D- line players. Yes, this may at times present a weakness to a small extent. However, he is the leading coach in 4th quarter comebacks. Rather easy to figure this out. I like the style and it works. I am glad others appreciate it also.

Combination of Fournette getting better, and a fumble in early games.

I think you definitely mix it up with the backs...if for no other reason, to try and give Bama as many different looks as possible.
