Maybe when the other conferences quit playing glorified flag football we can talk. There is going to be another hapless opponent beat down by the SEC champion this year. It is just the nature of things in college football right now.

You call an FSU blog writer "mainstream"? Idiot.

And, the "issue" is basically "obvious" to people because most people do not live in SEC land and as such, are jealous as frick. They can't bring themselves to look in the mirror and examine how shitty their conferences have performed in the last 10 years. So, rather than accept that they've been shitty, they throw tantrum.

As to conflict of interest. Did ESPN cause OSU to shite the bed in their two opportunities?

Seriously, can you point out or list some of the biased things ESPN is doing?

And can you explain exactly how ESPN is propping up undeserving teams?

UF was undeserving as I recall. Until they arse raped OSU.

LSU didn't deserve to be in the game...........until...... well, ya get the picture.

OSU fans have to bitch about ESPN because the alternative is to discuss actual results.

I just don't understand. The SEC has more than DOMINATED since 2003 or so. What in the shite are these guys talking about? For fricks sake, why do they keep coming up with horrifically false arguments?

Even little things..

The "Dawgs run past the Vols" quaote...I'm pretty sure is a play on words seeing as their mascot is a dog and they're known for running the ball...?

Winston is a Heisman winning, NC winning, best QB in the country. Dude has been arrested for theft, been an idiot, and been falsely accused of a very serious crime and the article brings up why a TE for Alabama who has only even PRACTICED with them a handful of times isn't national news. Jesus Christ, how does Z10 and the guys not realize how retarded this shite is?

Hey the Big12 is undervalued, and the SEC has already beaten 2 of their better teams on the road and neutral. Well frick, win those games or shut the frick up. The BIG literally sucks dick. The ACC is horrific minus FSU. The Pac is somewhat ok maybe, but teams that have been good recently for them suck too.

I just don't get it.

It really is simple. If the other conferences want to stop the "SEC bias" all they have to do is stop sucking ON THE FIELD when they have the opportunity to.

Oh sure, they have some victories against the SEC that they hang their hat on but shite, no one ever said the SEC literally NEVER loses.

But, until the norm isn't that the SEC tends to embarrass the "good teams" from these other conferences, they really just sound like whiny bitches.

Go something like 15-10 against the SEC in the next couple of years while beating their top teams and you'll have some ground to whine.

Until then, it just sounds like so much sour grapes because even if ESPN definitively has a bias, I'm pretty certain they can't force Notre Dame, OSU and others to lay eggs when they show up to the games. THAT shite is on the actual substandard teams.

I love how people say the SEC is getting sunshine pumped. Um. The SEC has appeared in the BCS title game 11 times and won it 9. Many of those weren't even competitive games. FIVE different schools from the conference have appeared. The next best total is 3 school appearances with a 2-5 record. In OVERALL BCS appearances, the SEC is 2nd to the Big 10(28 to 27). BUT, the Big 10 is 13-15 in those 28 appearances while the SEC is 17-10. I mean for f's sake. It would be one thing if it were a close discussion but damn. People really need to get over their butt hurt.

To simply put it, it all comes down to talent/players. 95% of the time the teams with better players win. And not only does every recruiting site show that SEC has the best players, the NFL does as we'll seeing how they dominate the draft every single year. There is absolutely no bias in this reasoning

The conflict of interest between the SEC and ESPN would be illegal in any other business context. And it's obvious to lawyers and people with brains.

What about those people on the committee (not espn) that are from PAC 12, Big10? Along with every other sportswriter outside of espn?

It blows my mind. Every one of them just says there is bias because "there just is" instead of pointing out factual information to support their claim. SVP and Rusillo were spot on on their rant about this the other day

They should also look into the NFL for their CLEAR SEC bias. It is unacceptable that most 1st round picks are SEC players. Also, they need to go after the other conferences top teams for always losing to top SEC teams just to help the SEC get bigger. Oh.....let's not forget those recruiting service giving the "top" HS players in the country 4 and 5 stars because they know they will probably pick SEC schools. I mean, that is so painfully obvious they need to start publishing stories TOMORROW!!!

It would be even better if Bama didn't always play like shyt in the Sugar Bowl.

Yes, Zamaro, ABC/ESPN is really owned by the Jews & thus it's another Jewish conspiracy, leading to the downfall of college football as we know it today. Do you honestly think that the suits at ABC in N.Y. really want all the tv sets in Starkville & Athens as it's main viewing audience on the nite of the NCG? Winning 7 out of the last 8 NCG is what makes the SEC so strong, not ESPN.

Dont worry, Zamoro won't answer any of that. He'll just start a new thread......
