Cant spell Taxslayer Bowl without LS...

Wait. Doesn't work. There is no U. And for CBS Sports to predict us going there is garbage. We will finish Top 12.

It will be very interesting to see where a 9-3 LSU team ends up with the new bowl structure. Let's hope it's a 10-2 LSU.

CBS bowl projections are crap
they have Tennessee in a bowl game, but don't have Kentucky (5 wins)
They have Auburn in Cap One bowl, which is fine until you realize that he has Ole Miss/Bama/& UGA which are all in playoffs or Select bowls. That would mean Auburn would have at least 4 losses. Their 5th possible lost would be to A&M, who he also has playing in the other New Year's day bowl (Outback)

Key word there is "predict". My how things have changed in a couple of weeks. We didn't even think we'd be bowl eligible after the Auburn game. Now we're getting pissy over which bowl we're projected to go to.

If you do not make it into one of the 4 playoff spots then what difference does it really matter what .com bowl LSU ends up in?

It matters to players. And the dollars certainly matters to LSUAD.

Honestly I hope we end up playing Clemson again because I cannot take the trash talking from my cousin and his friends that are Clemson alums anymore. Ever Since they beat us they have been saying how they would run the sec and steam roll us again.

Times have changed. Payouts vary. For ex: Indy bowl is $1.2M, Texas Bowl is $3M. Both are minor bowls.

its a lot more complicated that that. the sec has crazy formulas to calculate how bowl revenue is distributed.

Haha! Really? It's this line of thought that is the problem. "Oh no LSU can't play in the national championship game. To hell with the season!"
Be thankful for the bowl game. LSU played in the Capital One bowl with 4 losses so it can still get a good bowl game.
Not making the playoffs is not the end of the world.
Remember 3 weeks ago a lot of people thought LSU wouldnt bowl qualify.

When I heard this bowl, I had to look it up. I thought it was a SEC Bowl, after the Independence Bowl chooses.
