Relatives of a Broncos fan who went missing during last week's game are wondering how a man with no known health or personal problems could seem to vanish without a trace.

Family and friends of 53-year-old Paul Kitterman have been searching for him since Thursday night's matchup with the San Diego Chargers at Sports Authority Field.

I saw reports about this yesterday.

Crazy. I hope he is found.

I find it curious that a grown man can disappear like that against his will, without anyone noticing.

I bet it would be SUPER easy at a huge sports event. Some guy could have come up to him, "Excuse me sir, we believe there is an issue with your car. Can you come with me?" Get him to a secluded spot, put a weapon in his back and force him out.

Which means it probably wasn't against his will.

Good point.

It is still strange IMO. Why would someone kidnap a grown man?

Against his will may be the key phrase here. Perhaps he was miserable with his life and planned a getaway.

It's interesting that he "forgot" his cell phone. Maybe he's in debt. Maybe he's sick. Maybe he just wanted to disappear and he saw his chance. Weird.

I'm not trying to cast judgment, but there are several obvious scenarios where disappearing like this would be the easiest / most effective method. I just don't see a scenario where a grown man would disappear in such a short time unless he was somewhat willing.

I would say either he ran away or undiagnosed mental illness are the two most likely scenarios.
