our coach can sometimes frustrate us, but he has the ability to deal with adversity. His pre game talk to his team hours after his mom's death shows great fortitude and love of his team. He forced himself to stay focused and strong for the Ole Miss game. Yes, he may be stubborn and quirky but he never downgrades a player and he will never admit defeat. There may be some better with X and Os, but his heart can't be denied. Honestly, this may have been one of his finest hours.

Les Miles is a great man and could not be more proud to have him as our coach.

He can be frustrating but I really like the man and coach. He does what he thinks is best to get a victory. We can second guess all we want, but once again he has proven the coaches on the rant wrong.

I think it was SVP who once said, "College football is better with Les Miles a part of it."

Yes it was and for me I don't care what he does from here on out he will be a legend in Baton Rouge. I'm done questioning him, he knows what he is doing.

Quality first post

It would've been completely understandable for Les to take some time away, but he stayed strong for his players when they needed him the most, and I'm glad he's the coach of this damn strong football team.

How do you know this? How do you know how good he is with X and O?

Do I get frustrated with him as coach? yes. do I think that he has a special place in his for LSU? yes and that is something that you don't always get in this day and age. Especially since Michigan has hired 2 coaches since he has been here.

Well put. Concise. Dead on. Thanks a bunch. Couldn't agree more. "When you look over and see me you will be looking at an aggressive man..."

WOW.

There's no way to question his loyalty to LSU if you saw his post game interview on the field. That guy was so happy that Tiger Stadium rocked the way he's wanted it to rock again.

Love him or hate him, the man wasn't going to lose that game.

Can relate. He won me over a few years ago, now I just fully support him and am proud to have him at LSU.

Crazy like a fox. If he manages to beat Bama and can get this team to 10 wins for his 5th straight yr & 8th overall, especially after how this one started it'd undoubtedly be one of his finest coaching performances

The character and toughness of the man was on display during the "hurricane season".
How come so few noticed?
