Me and my friends used to fish a pond w/o permission a few times a week in the summer. We had permission for a years and then he randomly said "find somewhere else to fish." He only came to the property ~3x a year so we didn't really care. We also would walk the banks of rivers into private property fairly often.

I'm not particularly proud of it, but i'm not really ashamed either.

I grew up on a big piece of property and didn't like it when I'd see remnants of poachers and trespassers so I never did it.

Almost every day of my life. fishing, hunting, four wheelers, riding horses, swimming in pools, etc. I was a dumbass growing up. i am not ashamed of it by any means though.

I used to do the same thing all the time. Had permission to fish a pond and when the owner died his son told me I no longer had permission. Said frick it and fished it anyway.

Not for hunting or fishing but I used to ride my 3 wheeler on land that the owner didn't want us on.

He chased us several times....................honestly, I think he enjoyed it as much as we did. As I got a little older I ended up working for the guy on his farm in the summer time.

We had people who mudded on our farm several times, including in planted fields

So I never did it because I know how the other side feels

Poachers can DIAF as well

All the time, but it was different time back then. If something wasn't posted, you'd just pull over and hunt.

only time i would tresspass is if we shot a deer at night from the road and it was on someone elses property. I just ran on it real fast and got the deer and got off though, didnt mess anything up. We tried to only shoot them if yhey were in the ditch though, easier pickup and no tresspassing

Any of you Birmingham OBers still hit up the pond behind Pinson Valley High School (next to baseball field)? The bass were always on fire and everytime we went we would run into other tresspassers and confuse one another over being school officials.

Use to drink beer and go mud ride river rd when we were in HS. Mom surely didn't believe I had "a project to work on" 3 nights a week.

Trespass? You mean like getting dropped off on someone else's property, with a plan on what time you were getting picked up, but only if you left a coke can or limb in a certain spot on the road to signal you were done, and having alternate times and locations for pickup in the event someone came along and an alternate escape route was required? Or are you taking about dragging a boat 1/2 mile through the woods to fish a private lake at night? Or are you just talking about shooting deer in a field from the road? Or are you talking about just wandering off public land onto adjacent private land to shoot a turkey that hangs out there to avoid the pressure of public land hunters?

I'd never do any of that.

All the time to hunt and fish in the swamps all around my house with I was a kid. My neighbors didn't mind at all and would stop to chat with me if they saw me. Back then you could do that because it was the way we, and they, all grew up. There was one a-hole who kept trying to kick me off of his grandpaw's property, but his grandpaw put him in his place when he found out.

Nowadays everyone is putting up gates and fences and threaten to call the cops if you accidentally spit on their land.

Used to use my neighbor's bridge to get on the levee to hunt all of the marsh behind it. Used it consistently every weekend growing up. I remember all of a sudden one weekend he stopped me and chewed me out and told me I couldn't pass there anymore.

Damn shame

So I cut a path through our swamp coming out right by the levee and used it anyway

All the time. Caught tons of fish and frogs, killed many a squirrel on someone else's land. But no way in hell I would what I did then now.

As a land owner, I was forced into doing that due to the fact some people just screw up your place with trash or just go and cut trees down for firewood, ect.
