Sorry, hit enter.

Missouri wins the East and beats a one loss SEC West team.

You nailed it

Depends on who they beat in Atl. If its OM or MSU and Bama or AU is still with 1 loss, they will still get a team in.

Would be fricking awesome for the meltdown that would occur for months on the SEC sites.

Without looking at schedules, so not positive but I guess:

Undefeated FSU
1 loss Oregon
1 loss ND
1 loss MSU

SEC teams beat each other up and all have 2 losses.

A one-loss SEC west team that wasn't in the title game would still go.

So it would take even more chaos than that.

Fl. State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Michigan State, TCU... at least 4 of those 5 would need to win out.

I don't think they would allow it.

A one loss SEC team will be there IMO even if they don't win the division.

It's actually somewhat likely that Auburn beats Georgia.

Missouri only has to beat UK, A & M, Tennessee and Arkansas.

If they beat the SEC West winner (very unlikely) then the SEC champion will have lost to the worst team in the Big Ten.

I would

ill supply the more likely scenario so that i can take the thread seriously. missouri is 100% not winning the conference

a 2 loss georgia wins the SECC

not sure what would happen then, but right now, it looks like 2 losses would be too many

The Mothership would never allow it to happen.

Unless there was another 1-loss team in the West that didn't make the title game.

But that is unlikely. And even more unlikely is Missouri winning the East. They kinda suck.

None.

The CFP Committee knows it needs eyeballs to be watching games. Leaving out the champion of the most-watched power conference does NOT help your cause.

SEC champion is in, period. The other four fight for three.

Under this scenario, a one-loss West runner-up is in over Missouri.

So, not necessarily. An SEC team is in for sure. Not necessarily the champion.

Although there's a 99% chance the champion gets in.

Does not exist. With the Big 10 and Big 12 trying to eliminate themselves from playoff contention, even a two loss SEC Champ will get in.

And to crush your theory, Mizzou wont win the East.

Chances are that a 2 or more loss SEC representative makes it to the playoffs and blows out the competition (particularly the Pacific division rep.)

I would say it's pretty likely that they will.

UGA losing to Auburn is likely.

Have you watched Mizzou play a single snap this season?

Nah, man.

Stay in your lane on this one. They are terrible offensively. Still have to play Kentucky who can score. @Tennessee and @aTm too. They can't win a shoot out with aTm if it comes to that.

Georgia can lose again and still win the East. They would have to lose @Kentucky and vs. Auburn for Missouri to have a shot.

Missouri just beat Vandy by 10. And Vandy is one of the worst SEC teams in years.
