SEC NATION HEADED TO LSU CAMPUS FOR ALABAMA GAME
BATON ROUGE – SEC Network’s traveling pre-game show, SEC Nation, will make its way to the LSU campus on Saturday, Nov. 8 when the Tigers host Alabama.
SEC Nation, featuring former LSU All-American Marcus Spears along with Joe Tessitore, Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum and Kaylee Hartung, brings the sights and sounds of a college football Saturday in the SEC every week from 9 to 11 a.m. on SEC Network.
SEC Nation will be located in lot 106 on the LSU campus, which is located just west of the Carl Maddox Field House off of Nicholson Drive.
At every campus scheduled the show aims to visit non-traditional television locations in an effort to embed itself within pre-existing SEC fandom. This will be the first trip to LSU’s campus for SEC Nation.
LSU, which is coming off a 10-7 win over third-ranked Ole Miss on Saturday, is open this week. Kickoff for the Tigers and Crimson Tide is scheduled for 7 p.m. on CBS.

Finebaum had this one planned from the outset of the season.
It will be his Bama lovefest show.

The entire SEC Network season is scheduled before football season starts. The only way SEC network would go elsewhere is if College Gameday bumped them.
Their plan was to visit all 14 Schools in year 1.

I highly doubt SEC Nation, the SEC Network equivalent of College Gameday would go to the same place as their mother network, ESPN.

I see. Why not somewhere non traditional like the quad? The field house and natatorium are looking kinda rough and outdated.

Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a show that set up in a quad-like area of campuses instead of wide open fields.

I'm sure they'll position the set so that the stadium and big north end zone L S U sign are in background.
Will LSU fans boo every time Finebaum speaks?

LSU Salutes. And they don't need the same footprint as Gameday does.

Not sure why that particular place was chosen, just why they didn't go to the usual spots. The quad would have been cool.
