As I was walking back to my car after the game Saturday, we were being serenaded with drum beats from the band marching back to their band hall. My cousin and I thought we heard a phrase being chanted within a pause of the drum beats. I need confirmation, were the drummers chanting, "Hotty Toddy deez nuts!"?

Cause if they were, That. Is. Awesome.

If they weren't, they should have.

On a side note, that drunk girl pushing Roy King was pretty awesome as well.

I wanna know from a band member why the Alma Mater wasn't played. Also, what would happen if the Drum Major had just instructed them to play NECK while students were on the field????? She'd have lost her job????

The tuba section always does vulgar chants in the back of the band during games. None of the band directors can hear them so they get away with it I guess.

So this wouldn't surprise me.

Which is why when band members get pissed at us for saying STTDB I don't care.

Due to crowd control issues, Athletics didn't want the band playing with the field covered with people.

What happens to most people when they use blatant insubordination toward their boss?

I brought this up yesterday, and this is silly. The band played Hey Baby several minutes after I had given up on them playing the Alma Mater. I had walked back down to the South endzone by that time. The Alma Mater had plenty of time to be played before the "cease and desist" order was given.

Cause that rowdy arse song would have sent the crowd into a rage?? WTF? What could calm 3000 people on the field down more than the alma mater?

Yea the freakin school yells at the fans that they need to stay until the end. How the playing of the alma mater is oh so great and all this shite. Then the fricking band doesn't even play it when the entire stadium stays.

College aged girl was walking in the street, blocking the band, Roy King yelled at her from his cart, "Get out of the way", she stepped to the side then when he was passing by she pushed him. King stopped the cart, hopped out and went after her but the cop grabbed her first and forcibly pushed her well out of the way.

This place reminds me of my favorite DJ Khaled song…it should be the Rant anthem.

All I do is bitch, bitch, bitch no matter what
Got bitchin' on my mind, I can never get enough
And every time I step up in the Rant
Everybody hands go up

And they stay there, and they say "yeah," and they stay there
Up, down, up, down, up, down
'Cause all I do is bitch, bitch, bitch

Then please explain to me this logic...

Why are you guys not allowed to play Neck, even though STTDB is yelled for whatever other random song is played?

Why no Tuba Quake during the games?

Tuba Quake for the small crowd during the drum line warm ups is

You/we are talking about the pretty slow song, the alma mater, right? Not the Stadium Entrance Song (name gets confused all the time).
