That was when A&M and Texas still looked like they might be good next year.

Well that's definitely in progress. Have you seen them play lately? There will be a mutiny there before long. NO WAY, and I mean NO frickING WAY Texas is this weak if Brown is still there.

BTW, what is going on with the Texas boards...are they calling for the coaches head? If so, this is eexactly what makes a recruit haul arse..

Oh yeah, at that point in my life, I was thinking for myself and mom did not have a huge influence on my life's decisions. Now, with every one of our games on TV, she can travel or stay her arse home and see every play!

Apparently there is very poor morale in the Texas locker room... straight from Torshiro Davis an LB/DE. Maybe we really do have a shot with Malik.

I'm sure this guy is good at football, but I'm 99% sure he doesn't run a 4.3 as stated in OP.

I hope we have a legit shot at this dude, and this isn't the yearly highly ranked 5 star hat on a table.

And? His mom still wants him at Texas. She's done interviews saying that there's no way that she'd want him out of state. She's letting him look around, but it always comes back to her wanting him to stay in-state. Specifically in Austin.

Gee, this sounds familiar. Signed Landon Collins and Gerald Willis

Fair enough. I stand corrected.

If that time holds through college, he will be have the fastest 40 yard dash by any LB at the NFL combine in over a decade.

I'll help ya. From the Link:

Officially, a 4.39.

At 6'2 and 225 pounds, he outweighs the high school version of Noil by 45 pounds. His 40-yard dash is comparable to that put up last year by 196-pound Alabama cornerback Tony Brown, his shuttle approximates 186-pound UCLA corner Adarius Pickett, and his vertical leap matches 190-pound LSU safety Edward Paris.
