For the game last night, I had the good fortune of being on the receiving end of 2 free tickets to "The Bunker Club" at the Dome. I was shocked to see the face value of $305 each. I'm pretty much a teetotaler when it come to adult beverages, but made an exception last night and ordered a Blue Moon on tap. $9?? Really??? How times have changed.

Can't complain about a total layout of $44.50 for that game ($9 Beer + $5.50 popcorn + $30 parking), but it seems like some of that $305/ticket would go towards subsidizing the cost of beverages... wouldn't you think?? Call me old fashioned....

I am more upset that soft drinks are like 6 bucks and water is 4 than that beer is expensive.

The NFL came out about 5 years ago defending their beer prices saying that they were trying to prevent drunk driving...but if that was the case they wouldn't charge more than movie theatres for other drinks.

you seem to miss the point DRIVE TARD.

It's called comparable pricing. If you want to pay more for a lesser product then be my guest.

That place was expensive as hell, but Disney World is awesome, never had a bad vacation there

I had 2 free tickets last night also, but

$20 parking (yes, I'm not telling anyone on this new secret spot)
$60 for me and the ole lady to eat
$45 cab rides
$20 food inside the dome
$150 beer

So maybe it wasn't a free ticket after all. It was still well worth it.

i stopped buying beer in the dome at $8, but i do have a problem with the water situation.

They got rid of the water fountain nearest to my section last year. I looked at the dome's website and they list maybe 10-12 sections spread around the dome with drinking fountains. It still lists the section where the fountain has now disappeared.

I don't know if all the fountains are gone, but it is completely unacceptable to give fans no access to this basic of an amenity. I think it probably even violates some ADA or building code honestly if they are all gone.

$9 beer is a luxury. $5 water with no alternative is horseshite.

Yep - got the Blue Moon - Belgium Ale. I actually talked them into giving a sample of the Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale. I consider that a moral victory.

Here's my overall take on the matter: the price of admission just keeps going up because the waiting line goes around the block. Season tickets are nice, but what's better is having a friend that has season tickets.

you're aware that blue moon is made by coors right chief? and if you're getting a 16oz premium then for 9 then someone is getting fired. its suppose to be a 12oz. and there are two craft beer stations in the 100's
