Each week now that he's a starter with more PT he seems to be getting better in the middle. A wide body that plugs holes, is decent in coverage and runs sideline to sideline. Simply put he's a difference maker on the field.

Nobody will ever, ever, EVER convince me that the other guy was so much better for SIX GAMES into the season. The fact is that Les loves the other kid and did not start Beckwith until he had no other choice.

That said, I'm not gonna question Les. This team is coming.

You REALLY think Les makes decisions on LINEBACKERS? Come on man. It's Chavis making the call. Not only is he the defensive coordinator, but is also the LINEBACKER coach.

He's an animal. Him and Kwon at LB are both awesome

Maybe, just maybe, Beckwith wasn't ready until October.

Ready or not, theres no way Les is making a call on a linebacker. That is supposed to be Chavis' specialty

This assumption is stupid. Miles doesn't pick defensive starters. Position coaches pick who starts and who plays. Plus it's very obvious the Beckwith and the DT's have made significant progress over the last three weeks. They are playing much differently then the beginning of the year.

He's a beast no doubt but some of it is contributed to improved Dline play. Allows the LB to play freed up and make plays.

You REALLY think Miles tells Cam, who is THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR, who to start at QB and what set of plays to run? No way.

Slippy, you're an idiot, but I like your name and avi.

No one should have to convince you. The video is available for you to convince yourself. There are five or six game videos that show Beckwith fricking up, lining up wrong, moving when his teammates tell him, and watching running backs run past him. He wasn't playing like he is now.

Dude, Miles does not do defense. Period. I know you would like to blame him for the bad food in the concession stand as well, but this argument is stupid. He isn't telling Chavis who to start on defense

I am an adult and a rational fan that has been watching LSU football for decades. I guess I am just trying to figure out why they kept trotting #31 out there to be a non-factor. It just reminds me of Dinardo and Dunson.

If it wasn't for that play, it may have been a very different outcome. I'm going on the assumption he knew exactly where the sticks were and sold out, hit at just the right angle. If he had gone low, that's probably a 1st down.

And OM (AR too) fans call it "luck". Playmakers making plays.

Agreed Penrod, Beckwith always had the tools, but it has finally clicked for him..I think Chavis knew when it did, he would be playing and he is.

When Cam sees Harris gets it, he will be playing as well.
