Not complaining (because ii was not able to attend). I have to imagine it took forever to get off the field.

since everyone stayed until the end, initially it was horrendous...I saw cars sit in the parking lot in line to get out and not move an inch for more than an hour...

however, as usual, I just broke the grill back out and cooked up a few more burgers...an hour later when I finished, it was flowing nicely and I had no problems rolling out...

Considering everything the traffic wasn't bad.

I've posted this before. I stayed till the end, had a sandwich and a beer and then headed out. I was home in Prairieville by around 11.30.

There will be slow traffic after every game, so quit your bitching, have a bite to eat and a cold drink and just go with it.

We stayed about 10 minutes after the game ended. Walked to the truck at lot 207 (highland and Dalrymple) and was home in Prairieville before 10:30

Stayed the whole game. Sat at the car for about 15 minutes (vet clinic). Took about 15 minutes to get down River Road to 10.

Not bad at all

Me and some friends pulled out the chairs, warmed up the gumbo, and listened to 98.1 until 1:30am. We weren't even gonna tempt it. I got back home in Metairie at 3am.

It all depends on which direction you want to go. As I posted in the other thread, it took us 11 minutes to go from parking lot to I-10.

I left the stadium after we scored, watched the end at my tailgate, broke down my tent, got in my car, didn't get behind one car on my way home.

I was parked by the law center, sued about 20 minutes or so to celebrate with some other people, and was back home in Metairie by 12. Not bad at all IMO.

How someone could decide to leave early in a game like last night is beyond me.

Stayed to the end. I'm in parking lot 102 on Nicholson to the north of Old Alex Box ... Zipped right out and made it to Lafayette by 11:00 pm!

you missed some exciting football, and an electric postgame atmosphere. But congratulations on getting home 15 minutes earlier.

We were parked in lot 102 (the old Alex box). We sat in the car until midnight before we started to move. That is an hour and a half after it ended. We live in lafayette and didn't get home until 2:00 am. 3 1/2 hours after the game

It was slow, but luckily we had beer left from that afternoon. We just hung out at the truck, drank beer, and talked about how much fun we had just had

Looks like I am in the minority, but I thought traffic was horrible. There was still jams around campus at 2:00am.

My assessment was maybe it is easier for those with passes to get to the interstate, but if you are trying to get anywhere relatively close to campus it is locked up.

No passes and took me 20 minutes to get home. So 15 minutes to get off campus.

And I made my way back in the vicinity of campus 45 minutes later and saw the traffic on Perkins but used back roads to get to my destination.
