With all the LesHaters that come onto this board, no one can deny that this fact proves that LSU teams under his leadership NEVER quit. They always believe they will find a way to win.no other active coach in America is even close to this.

I think Miles' offensive strategy plays into this record a bit.

Mind you, I tend to agree with the strategy. It's been proven to be exceptionally successful.

And it pisses off NegaTigers, so that's also nice.

they'll simply say we never should have been behind in the first place. it doesnt matter to them, everything good is actually bad, everything bad is the end of football at LSU for a hundred years

It's an incredinle stat when you look at the other teams. I don't recall who's in second but it's like a .341 percentage or something like that

I think ESPN showed Texas in 2nd place with .300 something. Way behind us. It was a great stat they showed yesterday during game day.

That stat has become internalized by other SEC teams and fans. Playing LSU seems to create a lot of anxiety for other fanbases because they know anything can happen and that the game is rarely over until the clock finally runs out in the 4th. See the MS State game when LSU almost pulled that one out in the end. All of the SEC fanbases were laughing at MSU fans/Dan Mullins because you never let off an LSU/Les Miles team since crazy shite always seems to happen.

The only thing this proves to me is that LSU plays down to the competition to much and we have to scramble at the end.

ETA: It does bring exciting football so I cant complain about that.

I think it is a stately out of necessity. Our Qbs are bad and this helps us win desire that.

We were much more balanced in 2005-2007 and in 2013 when we had above average to good QB play

There is absolutely no logical explanation for a team to be above .500 when trailing in the fourth quarter...it's Frickin crazy.

The vast majority of the time, Miles and his teams are never out of it, and more-often-than-not find a way to win those come-from-behind battles. It's truly remarkable.

The pessimist in me says we shouldn't be behind 47 times in 128 games.

The optimist also notes that nearly half of games in the past ten years have been against ranked teams.

I think it speaks to The fourth quarter being, oftentimes, when Miles and his teams shine the brightest. It is definitely a trademark of Miles-coached teams to play well in the fourth quarter, which is the most important quarter in the game of football to begin with.
