Live Shrimp Hook

This is my first year that I think I am really going to use live shrimp more often. I've always just used plastic.
So, my question is: Is there a preferred hook to use with live shrimp?
I am currently using a regular J hook 2/0, I think.
Just wondering what the OB has to say.

2/0 Khale hook...through the horn avoiding the black "brain"

I use an 8 or 10 treble hook depending on the size of the shrimp. Hook the shrimp in the head in front of the brain. That's it.

I use a size 4 treble and put one hook in the slot in front of the brain. Works for me when I use them but haven't for years, too many hard heads.

This sounds about right. I started using treble hooks last year and find we hook way more fish.

I like a kahle hook when fishing live bait. Especially if you're occasionally hooking a catfish.
