Oh man did he have a game. Had a bunch of big plays tonight.

Off the top of my head- the blitz he had where he sacked Bo, the blitz on 4th down that caused an errant throw which otherwise would've been a big gain for Ole Miss, big hit on a WR, I remember a big hit where he just met the RB in the hole and put him back, and the play he made on that third down run to stuff the ole miss runner before the first down and force the 4th down which they didn't get.

He was a monster tonight

Obvious question is why wasn't he starting before, almost angers me.

He is the difference in the defense.

He's improved a lot in the last few weeks tbh. Early in the season they'd put him out there and he'd show that he was a great athlete but was a little tentative, looked kind of uncomfortable.

He's cutting loose and bringing the wood now

fricking IN!!! KB made at least 2-3 amazing plays that i immediately thought his predecessor most likely would not have made.

What's crazy is that this comes on the heels of a game last weekend where he took an absolute knock-out shot and many were wondering if he was okay.

A fricking MAN'S MAN!

And it is hard to stand out on this defense, but I think he did, tonight. Of course, Adams is always around the ball, and the entire DL has played very, very well the past couple of games, but Beckwith made a statement tonight.

I remember the Ole Miss sneak on 4th and short on their penultimate drive - the one they tried to hurry up. I can only conclude 1 of 2 things. We either diagnosed the play just in time - or we actually stole the call and faked being unprepared.

Either way 8 players made a beeline for Bo, including 1 or 2 who leapt over the line to get at him. It was a thing of beauty. I think it was the play of the game.

He's no Welter but he's ok. We haven't improved defensively at all since he's been a starter

Meh. I get that, but dude is TONS better now than he was just 2weeks ago. He had the chance to seize the opportunity earlier, but has just recently separated himself. A light has come on and he has gone beast mode. Let's just be thankful for that instead go hating on Welter or Chavis.

Correct use of penultimate on the rant. Most amazing thing I've seen all night.

How about multiple choice for morons?

A. He was possessed by a demon, and once exorcised, he was able to play well again.
B. To piss of TheWalrus
C. Because he didn't know the defense well enough to utilize his talent.

It's C BTW. Beckwith got lots of snaps the first half of the year, and we sucked, because he was always out of position. Right before the snaps Mills was constantly having to yell to Beckwith what to do. Then the ball would be snapped, and Beckwith would end up chasing the RB after he ran through the wide open hole that Beckwith was supposed to fill.

That still doesn't answer the question.

He HAS been a monster! I wonder what the season would look like if had been there the whole season instead of Welter? Dak nor Marshall would have been as effective...
