Feel free to re-read the game thread; there were plenty of folks proclaiming LSU's demise throughout the whole thing.
One poster even called them "a loser team". This was someone who has a 5-figure post count.

Way more than MSU or Auburn, since it would've been on us and our mistakes, thinking what could have been. In our two losses, we were just outplayed. As you said though, moot point, Tigers win!

They fought their asses off and played with a shite load of heart against a very good team. I'm at a point in life where a loss wouldn't be the end of the world with the way this team player.
I think I may be more proud of this turnaround than I was for the 2nd national title. This season could've gone South hard and instead the coaches have obviously gotten through to these talented young guys and we're starting to look like a dominant program again. Future is bright.

No, the win is all that matters. I would never have guessed that LSU would be minus three on turnovers, not hit a long pass, get some questionable calls early and drop some interceptions, and not dominant on STs and win the game. They did though.
Kudos to the defense, the blockers, the coaching staff and the team in general for this win.
