Call me brain damaged because Les Miles has been my coach for 10 years, but it is not as crazy a call as most people think. Down 3 at home, right at the edge of what you can even expect your kicker to attempt - the crowd was ROCKIN' - and you've got a choice - put the ball in your best player's hands (however bad a game he's had) and give him a chance to make a play to win the thing or you take a chance with a long field goal (although, we're not talking about a 57 yarder or something like that - I'm not saying that) - that might prolong the game or you might lose it with a miss, block, bad snap, etc.

I don't know - I must presume the guy knows his team better than I do...

Anyway - any day Ole Miss loses a football game cannot be all that bad, no matter what else happens.

the thing is, if wallace does what he's supposed to do, you get both shots

I like the availability of all the equipment.

That's my knock on Beachbody. And, I want to use more traditional weight lifting techniques.

No, but what you were watching wasn't the actual crossfit games. probably just a local competition. I could do that

The short route wasn't there and the line was caving in. He had no choice but to heave it deep. He wasn't outside the tackle box.

No way of knowing that before the play, though.

Nobody would be calling Freeze an idiot for attempting the FG and missing, though. I guess you pays your money and you takes your chances.

I would've gone with the freshman kicker, but I understand the decision not to.
