I remember how many people here were bashing oil companies for their "practices" when crude oil prices were high and were paying close $3.5/gallon. How quickly people forget when gas prices do sink and follow crude

Don't worry - the fed government is going to be raising the gas tax after the elections are over. More fuel efficient vehicles, more carpooling, and less commuters are resulting in less tax revenue for highway maintenance.
Enjoy it now, but Congress is coming for more.

It's the same shite every year. They rise in the summer bc of traveling for vacations, lower in the fall, and then rise again when it gets cold.

Lower demand in China and cheaper winter gas mix is the reason for the drop. Big bad oil companies are still big and bad.

I guess many of you liking these lower gas prices don't live in louisiana. With these lower prices come less jobs and consumer spending. I will gladly pay 20 more a tank if it means more people working.
