When was the last time team/fans were pumped for Ole Miss?

2003?
Seems like we're always taking their best shot. The team doesn't seen to get hyped and neither do fans, well some, but not like Bama, Auburn, Florida .
They were decent in 2008 and may have been favorites but this game is much more hyped.
Was 2003 the last "big game" vs Ole Miss in your opinion?

Absolutely. Ole Miss fans always talk about how playing in TS is no big deal.....but honestly, most of the current fanbase hasn't had the real TS experience. They will get it tomorrow night.....I like our chances.

Agreed. Last 3 trips have all been day games with little on the line.

I've never been excited for Ole Miss or even looked at them on the schedule more than a week before we play them. Probably the most excited I've been since
2003. Usually when we play them nothing is on the line. When we arenas we lose to them, when we are good we don't notice them

Ole Miss is a true rivalry for me. Only because I accept them as a rivalry while some do not. I'm old enough to remember '03 and some of the other greats. Bama just because a rival because of the implications. Ole Miss is the most important game to me.
