It looks like cops were responding to a rape call in Bayou Pigeon when the suspect was hiding behind the house armed.

So just because he is suspected of rape, can be not have a gun?
Rapist are scum of the earth. But what if some girl just calls in a false rape, cops arrive and see a guy behind the house with a gun. That gives them the right to shoot? It's not illegal to be behind a house with a gun

Now THIS is a case where a trigger-happy cop is a good thing. I just wish he'd missed a little low and the rapist survived with his junk permanently mangled.

I'm just playing devils advocate I guess but just being suspected of rape doesn't mean you should get shot if holding a gun.

Yea the odds are the cops told him to drop the weapon and he didnt. But it's concerning how an accusal of rape = automatic guilty.

If a girl falsely accused you of rape would you hide out behind her house with a gun? If it was me, I would wait out at the driveway for the cops to get there.

I have to say one thing about there..
Usually very low crime and I'll willing to bet the guy who did this wasn't from there.
