Honestly, I think they are very solid, but they are not top tier in ths conference

Right now they are.......... There is a reason they are rated # 3 in the country..........

I've watched a lot of their games and they aren't Auburn or Miss St. defensively, and certainly not offensively.

And LSU IS???????

The Bama win was solid, but Bama is not as good as Aub or MSU IMO.

but until I see them beat us like Auburn or MSU did I refuse to believe they are a top 5 team.

So beating LSU is a MAJOR accomplishment????? LSU is an average SEC team this year.........

Ummmm...ok? Not sure about the little boy business. Unless of course you mostly talk to little boys and just forgot where you were.

I did say they are a solid team, but they aren't top 5. Teams that would beat ole miss on a neutral field:
FSU
Auburn
MSU
UGA
Michigan St
Oregon
Maybe even ND and Oklahoma

Literally, no one said that.

Actually, they said the opposite. If they beat LSU that doesn't make them a NC contender.

I never said beating LSU is a MAJOR accomplishment. I said until they beat us like (meaning as in the fashion--a beat down) Aub or MSU I don't believe they are top 5.

You think Bama is better than Aub and MSU?

I don't really know why I'm responding to you anyway, as your lack of comprehension is well established.

For the record- we are not a good team, but it will not shock me to see LSU win.

I mean you guys REALLY would be shocked if LSU won? I find that hard to believe.

Since its GTHOM week, we should remember the 2011 game.
Miles should show the current team the highlights, especially this part.

I don't think anyone on this site (except maybe peej or duke or whatever) will think Ole Miss sucks all of a sudden if they lose tomorrow. The gist is they're probably not the third-best team in the country and aren't head and shoulders above LSU.

LSU is one trick pony running up the middle
Dallas runs the ball 70 percent of the time on first down. they lead the NFL in rushing and just had the first RB to ever start the season with 7 straight 100 yard games. where do you think they run? backwards?

but thats not real football, right? its only real football if there's a grad assistant on the sideline holding up pictures of Chewbacca and a waffle. just because something works on the highest level, against teams like Seattle, doesn't mean it could work on ole miss.

No they don't. Alabama, @ A&M, Tennessee, @LSU & Auburn isn't a "Favorable" schedule in the least bit.

To date they have played Bama at home, and literally no other good team.

Pretty favorable.

I think this will be a good game and I think OM is worthy of their hype to this point. We could very well mess around and win this game, or OM could come in here and put a '11 LSU type beating on our young team.

Future is still bright regardless of the outcome of this game or the rest of the season, I'm just here for the ride.

Funny post...and nothing wrong with running a lot (a lot of the best teams do), but when you don't have the horses, running up the middle ain't the best idea. We do have some horses, and our O-line play has been playing much better, so we should be able to have some success with running up the middle at times. But a little variation would be nice. We don't have Dallas' RB.

I wish our fans would give this team a chance, but sadly they won't.

Nice blanket sweep, but honestly, and I'm all in regardless and see this season as a rebuilding one, I think this game could be close, or an OM blowout, or LSU winning by 2 scores even though it'd be closer than the scoreline would tell you. Basically, what I don't see, is LSU dominating from start to finish...we just aren't there yet IMO.

I have these feelings because from what I've seen up to this point, we will have a tough hill to climb to win this game, and an even bigger one to do it decisively. I'm just hesitantly optimistic while trying to keep a realistic POV (learned that acronym from RedTube).

It's a tough year and I just hope for a good game and to keep watching these young guys grow into their roles. I'll have fun regardless

I don't know, what about West Virginia says "great defense" to you? EDIT: The 'eers give up 27 ppg, but if you take out Towson and Kansas (who scored 14 points combined), that average goes over 35.
you said Arkansas was bama's best win by far. west Virginia is by far bama's best win

Me too.

Some are just saying we will get stomped because, I believe, they somehow feels that it will lessen the sting when they can say " see I told you."
