So that's what he meant

It certainly happened fast and they're probably right but I doubt shite comes from it

frick the Cubs! They haven't been relevant in over 100+ years! This World Series is going to be remembered as one of the greatest postseason runs ever by the Royals.

Sorry that potential manager change for team that's been irrelevant for 100+ years dominates the headlines over franchise's greatest run. Kind of makes you question the whole premise about relevance.

Yeah we all know MLB is a fricking joke, and when David Glass takes the trophy from Bud his only words should be "Save More Live Better. frick off and happy retirement"!

buster onley said on his podcast yesterday that Maddon to the cubs is basically a done deal. Which meshes with everything else said.

In my 'when do the cubs hire maddon' office pool i have the timing set as 11am Friday. I'm certainly to the when, not if stage.

Yea, I feel bad for him. Now as bad as i feel for him doesn't even come close to balancing out the happiness i feel for hiring maddon.

He will get another shot elsewhere at some point. You don't pass on Maddon if he's available

agree

Yea, it's not like he's out in the cold with no money. I think this would be easier for me if he'd done more (because he did some) boneheaded things that lost the cubs games (or if those games lost had been meaningful).

I can't believe it's really happening. The Cubs could be relevant.
