Ah you guys. Still hoping. Praying. Dreaming to find those wmds in Iraq to get your boy W off the hook for his war crimes.
I salute you.

Since the term yellowcake seems to register with Mcgrath, I assume he knows what it is, but I'll spell it out for his goofy comic relief sidekick assrob. Yellowcake is about 99 mussent U238 and .5-.7 mussent U235, (which is the good stuff galoompy.) You show me 550 metric tons of yellowcake, and I'll show you ~3.5 metric tons of U235. Of course separating it out is tricky, but there's no question Saddam had more than enough for several devices.
How many they could have made would depend on how pure they could enrich it.

Israeli warplanes bombed a reactor project at the site in 1981. Later, U.N. inspectors documented and safeguarded the yellowcake, which had been stored in aging drums and containers since before the 1991 Gulf War. There was no evidence of any yellowcake dating from after 1991, the official said.
So this was all crap that was well documented and safeguarded for a decade before we invaded. It looks like we could have gotten rid of that any time we wanted to. Saddam didn't really "have" this yellowcake since 1991 then. We just never moved it.
Not sure why you would leave it around, but that clearly wasn't the reason we invaded, right?

Many moons ago, a lib poster (named DA I think) demanded a link about this transfer of yellowcake to Canada because if it actually had happened, "it would have been all over the media."

Am I the only one that thinks a great deal of Saddam's chemical weapons were moved to Syria after he knew we were coming after him?

I clearly remember the embeded reporters standing by the mobile "mixer" trucks that had obviously been abandoned for some time.
Either way the obvious answer was to just bomb the fjuk out of them, there was no reason to ever go in with soldiers.

Surely that's the occam's razor explanation.

Although I do seem to recall someone in the Bush administration trying to drum up support for the war in Iraq based on the fact that their hospitals had cleaning supplies and medical equipment. Wasn't that some pathetic ambassador or something?
