I feel like I need to not have a sober mind to feel normal watching these commercials and off kilter news reports because they make me feel not human. The same information repeating over and over and over......

Travelled to Brazil on business several years ago and had trouble sleeping the entire time.
American Chopper dubbed in Portuguese came on at 4:00 am. It was obvious Jr & Sr were screaming at one another but the guys doing voice over just talked in their normal voices the entire time. It was awesome how terrible it was.

Godzirra movies were most of our first introductions to poorly dubbed stuff. It's good to watch subtitled movies you have down cold to pick up idioms.
In Animal House in German subtitles, Bluto says "Was it over when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor?" The Teutonics don't get humor.

Nothing but infomercials and music videos. Great if you wanna buy some knives, start a fitness program, buy some expensive arse shampoo or catch up whar the top 20 videos in the nation are. Oh...or if you wanna get your God on. Lots of religious programs on now.
