I've never been to a NFL game
Posted by LarrytheGolfer on 10/23/14 at 9:59 pm35
What am I missing out on? Does the atmosphere pale in comparison to a SEC game?

You're missing out on 30 dollar parking and $10 Coors Light!
What's wrong with you?

I've been to a Steelers preseason game (the one where Greg Lloyd got fined for a late hit on Favre) and several Saints games (most recently, the one where AB was obviously hurt and Haslett left him in, and the fans booed whenever he ran onto the field).

Been to a couple of saints games. Had much more fun at LSU games although I have much more interest in LSU so i might be biased.

Pretty much nothing. Lots of trashy fans.

In short, yes.
It's a very corporate feel. The NFL sucks.

As opposed to lsu fans leaving during the 3rd quarter in recent memory?
I've been to several of both. I enjoy Saints games more. I wasn't fortunate enough to be there for the NFC championship, or the Gleason block, but I'd imagine both of those, especially the first can compare in excitement to some of the best college moments.

Had season tickets to the saints when I lived in NOLA. Always had a blast.

Considering bhffalo tailgating is onpar with mlst sec schools and play in a stadiu, with less advertising and suites than tiger stadium i have a feeling his corporate feel but yet still trashy is generic troll 101

The ones I've been to have just as many commercials as TV has. Every time you turn around there are sponsor signs and promotions going on. No bands, halftime entertainment is commercialized, and it just doesn't have a college feel to it. I like the pageantry, traditions, and the excitement of a college game.

Meh.
I will say that Saints games are fun. I like it indoors. The people are great. The team is fun to watch, usually.
But other NFL stadiums I've been to have been boring as shite. But, of course, they were all the Florida teams.
The one thing better about pro games to me is that they are a lot shorter.
