I see nothing in his post that suggest he hates Miles.......... I like Miles and still think we lose tomorrow night..........

It's going to be a special atmosphere on Saturday. If we can all feel it you better believe the players can feel it. I think they come out with a vengeance and a determination that we have not seen in a while.

Auburn #5 in 1970
Nebraska #1 in 76,
USC #1 in 79
Auburn Earthquake game
Florida #1 in 97
and several others...

This one has that feel...

I get to one game every two years...
This is the one for me.
I'll be the one kicking the glass out of the new South End Zone suites...

i'm a realistic LSU fan that backs Miles.

i don't think we're gonna win.

I think Ole Miss has a better team than us this year just like State did. doesn't mean either of them are better programs in the long term and probably speaks to their experience in key positions and our lack.

i wouldnt be surprised if we win. big game, big atmosphere. but i wouldn't pick us to win.

I think LSU had a different mindset against Miss St probably thinking they could just show up and win not giving the Bulldogs a serious chance to compete. But they went right after our strength that just shut out 2 teams by throwing it down field. Being an underdog at home against a team we hate will not be overlooked by these players and they will be ready to lay the wood. I hope they stomp their arse by 4 touchdowns.

one might infer that, however, based on this statement...

but unless someone has taking over Miles body during the week, it will be hard for LSU to win this game.

You must not have been on the Rant prior to the AU game this season. There were many who just KNEW Harris was the key to this offense being explosive; AU wasn't very good based upon their performance against KSU; and LSU was really turning the corner after the ULM game. We all know what happened there.

I think LSU CAN win this game, however I'm not confident that they WILL win this game.

Why? We're 8 weeks into the season. It's time to admit that OM is a very good team. While LSU looked better against UF and UK, I have no reason to believe that they are going to change anything in their offensive and defensive approaches. They will be ultra-conservative on offense and hope the defense can keep them in the game. That approach worked against to mid-lower tier SEC teams, but failed miserably against the two top notch SEC teams they have played.

thats true, the offense wont change. this game is up to the defense and the special teams.

i think our defense matches up well against OM. i think we have the speed to shut down their WR screens and the athletes to cover them deep. they cant really run the ball and Bo aint exactly Prescott or Marshall athleticly. plus their Oline is suspect.

Go back and watch auburn and msu games. We threw the ball more in those games. We ran out of the shotgun. LSU has gone back to what they do best. Running the ball out of the pro set. We have won 2 in a row doing that. So in fact that approach works because that wasn't the approach against auburn or miss state. The coaches have changed it up. The haters just don't actually watch the games.

Are the changes gonna work against a much better team than UF/UK?
