I will be pulling a 7x16 cargo trailer lightly loaded to north dakota. What fuel mileage you think I am looking at? It's a 2014 crew cab 4x4.

I probably get 1-2 mpg less than my average highway mpg when pulling a similar trailer to the hunting camp. As long as you aren't pulling something large that catches a lot of wind you should see the same with a small load

9-12 if you are lucky. I have the tow gears and I average around 14.7 with nothing behind me.

What kind of speed?

Anything over 60 and the fuel mileage is gone

Less than 60 to north dakota would be a long trip.

Yeah I figured

I was just clearing it up

I'm thinking you'll be lucky to get 10-11.

It's more about surface area than weight

I think you can get 14-15 mpg. Depends on terrain. I've gotten up to 24 mpg mix driving conservative . 20 mpg driving like an on interstate. 12-13 mpg pulling a 24' boat. 18 mpg around town is lowest.

If i ever got 8 mpg id be checking for holes in my tank.

FYI- on the way home from South Dakota we routinely found BP's truck over 90... MPG be damned when the drive is that long...
