Just saw this posted on 247. The article mentions us, Bama, and Florida (still) as his favorites. He just scheduled an official to Oregon. Any chance we get him in for an official or have a shot with this kid? Big kid, 6'3" 220 lbs out of Lawrenceville, GA.

Don't know, but we definitely need LBs. We lose all but 3 after 2015, and would really like to not have to get 5-6 in next year's class.

Glad to even be in his top 3 at this point

So it's basically Alabama/LSU for him

Get his arse over for the Alabama game and lets win him over

We've pulled some good players from that area. Alexander (Buford), the Ferguson brothers (Buford), and Minter (Suwanee). Buford, Suwanee and Larencville are adjecent towns. Come on down Thomas and keep the tradition going.

Get Peveto on him. Let him know good and well about Riley, Sheppard and Minter if he doesnt already.

Adonis can continue the strong tradition at LSU of beast linebacker/DEs with awesome first names.

We should and need to put a full court press on him. Show him how if he were to come here he will have the oppurtunity to see the field as freshmen with everyone we are losing. We really need to take 1 or 2 quality LB's in this class instead of just waiting and putting all the chips in for the big 2 next year

Arthur McGinnis will probably be one for this class. Only reason he hasn't been offered is because he's primarily played DE.

I'm curious if we have a legit shot here or if we are just a hat on the table for show.

i JUST hope we dont wait to long on him and he decides to go else where. The difference is Arthur will most likley require a red shirt unlike adonis who will be a key contributor right away

I think we have a shot, but the Bammers are pretty confident at the moment.

I hope we do. Im against negative recruiting but he has a way better chance of seeing the field as freshmen here and overall. Alabama takes like 6 LB's every class with a bunch of DE's as well they convert some to OLB's

hoping we play the playing time angle A LOT... he'd see the field very early here, whereas at Bama, may be a couple of years before he's seeing significant playing time....
