I hope you're right bro. What year did they introduce the Ecoboost? 2011?

You bastard! I'm jelly
Sorry you're a poor bro.

We actually have the choice of a company truck and gas card for $150/mo. But the trucks are a white F150 XL Supercab, V6, power windows and locks, vinyl floor. No thanks, I'll take the $700/mo. and buy what I want. After I refi, my note will only be $438/mo. Only bad is no gas card.

I found a 2012 lariat there earlier this year. No one else could come close to their price. I have been happy with it so far.

Leave it to the OB to derail a new truck thread into a Ford and Ecoboost pissing match.

Welcome to the Ford Ecoboost family. Good looking truck

I picked up a new 2014 F150 XLT Supercrew 4x4, Ecoboost, chrome package, off road package, 20" wheels, leather, backup camera, tailgate step, HID headlights, Sync and free oil changes for life for $36,000. No brainer.

I read you post in the Tundra thread about your experience with the price difference between Tundra and F150. About how much would a Tundra similar to your F150 cost?

I am getting the new vehicle fever and am going to start looking at trucks, just want the general info.

Really not sure. I was in New Iberia going pick up my boat and stopped at Musson-Patout Toyota. They only had about 15 Tundras. A mix of 14's and 15's, a couple of double cabs, mostly Crewmax. I imagine a comparable Toyota to my XLT would probably be an SR5. They can add aftermarket leather.

I'm not too familiar with Toyota's options and packages. I just know they will not come off sticker price much. I asked the salesman if I could get a 4x4 Crewmax with leather and rear camera for mid $30's and he said no way.

The smart thing Ford is doing is upgrading the XLT with factory leather and nice chrome packages, rear camera in the radio console and HID lights.

I feel like it would be hard to beat the truck I got with the options on it for the price. Hell, you can get a 4x4 XLT with the 5.0, regular headlights, cloth seats and no tailgate step for around $33,500.

Does the chrome package come with multi-zone climate control? That's the main thing I need since my wife has raynaud's disease. Her extremities start freezing to a point of losing circulation so need to have that so she can pump the heat and I can keep my side cool. If the XLT chrome package doesn't have it, what package does?

I know lariat does. Just wondering if there is any package, add-on, etc that would allow the XLT to have it
