I absolutely love this show so far. Best non-comedy on television.

How could I forget

It's got a different tone than season 1...but not as good. Waaay better than season 3.

The thing about season 1 was that it was very realistic. It could be happening down the street from you.

This season has Carnivale mixed with Creepshow vibe. More entertaining than scary... but some good "make you jump" moments.

Next episode we are primed for something awesome. Halloween week. A murdering spirit loose in the freakshow and the clown team assembling.

I for one cannot wait for a week from today.

Where is everyone tonight?

Everybody quit on this show already? I think it's the second best thing on TV right now. I'll be pissed if they cancel or move it.

How does this compare to the first three seasons? This is my first season. Wife asked me to give it a chance. It's so-so.

The first season is fantastic. The second season isn't amazing, but it's watchable. The third season is bad. And not a funny watchable bad. Just bad. This season I have really liked so far.

Each season is completely different.

Last night was good... Still small things I'm not a fan of, but WAY better than Season 3 and I'd put it on par with Season 2 at this point, maybe slightly better.

Last night was a pretty meh episode for the most part. Moved the story along well, and the Mordrake stuff was well done. Not near as good as last weeks episode.

Next week is set up to be great

Yes it was.

How was last night? I see my DVR didn't fricking record it for some reason (think I have too many other things on Wednesday nights). I'll have to remember to record it manually when I get home.

I didnt watch last nights episode. I watched last weeks episode.
Is it just me or is the "creepy clown effect" a little lost on twisty?

Its almost like he is too homicidal looking to even resemble a clown at all.

He is too muted....clowns are bright and loud.

When I see Twisty I just see a maniacal beast...no clown.

Oh and has it been discussed that this guy plays Twisty:

everyone pretty much agrees the first season is great but i didn't like the ending.

i'm in a minority that i liked the 2nd season. it ended better than the first season did but they seemed to go off on tangents more. jessica lange was a beast that season.

the 3rd season was not great. and with it being set in Nola i wanted to be good. people coming back to life isn't really a surprise on this series, but season 3 got a little crazy with it. easily the worst season so far.

i haven't watched last night's yet but am enjoying this season so far.

I said something similar last week. He's definitely creepy, but moreso than "scary clown," he legit looks like a murderous psychopath just walking around town...yet nobody has thought to stop and question him when people are getting killed. And he's literally walking down the middle of the streets. It's just weird and out of place for me.

But that being said, I am enjoying it so far.

Yea, the only person that has really had the reaction I would expect from someone seeing him was the guy from last night's episode that had stolen his sister's candy. Even the little girl was just kind of like, the frick is this a-hole doing here?

It has been a very strange dynamic. I've loved how they have written him though, it has been very well done with a nice mix of psychotic tendencies while still trying to perform and what not. The character response to him, however, has just been strange. I wonder if they will ever touch on that or not. I would have expected everyone that saw him to just be like "Awe hell no" and gtfo.

Right. The mother is driving down the street and sees an insane looking clown and is like "Can I rent you to play with my adult son?" The dynamic has been more than strange, like you mentioned.

I'm interested to see last night's show.

Yeah but that mother is fricked in the head. Maybe moreso than anyone else.

Look at what she raised..

Yea, he is by far the most horrifying character in the show so far. Truly a sociopath.
