will do! Place sounds pretty great. Right near where I'll be in Jackson too.

if you're going to be in the area, a few recs in addition to pig & pint:

1. go to apothecary (in the back of brent's drugs--there is no sign). it is a speakeasy bar with fantastic drinks. mixologists there are amazing. sit up at the bar and enjoy

2. I'm a fan of babalu. get the tableside guac and burger. good drinks there too

3. saltine is a new oyster bar. it has a nice beer selection and food is decent (disclosure: I've only been once and it was shortly after opening. oysters were small and expensive but tasty).

4. fondren public is a fun beer bar tucked in the corner behind cups. they have shuffleboard, corn hole, etc. decent bar food such as sliders, etc

these are all within a block from one another.

The beef ribs with a side of Applehead singing Dirty Diana...Leathea's was awesome. Not sure now that Leatha died. The best was definitely when it was down by the river in Columbia MS.

We stop at leatha's every year on our way to gatlinburg. It's still very, very good IMO. From what I was told, Brett Favre signed every one of his NFL contracts at Leathas

ALL OF THIS. I've been to Saltine twice -Craig's Oyster Stew is so good. Also the PB&J is very interesting...like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Drinks are done right too.
