we're getting the gut-check emotional responses to evoke some major guilt

it's like i am getting a picture of marriage without being married

Your last post.....

Apparently you feel like any time your wife questions your position, she's calling you an a-hole.....

Failing to see how "society is trying hard to make compromise when it comes to children unacceptable" I guess. Seems to me you're feeling awfully bitter about something you might want to consider more in depth. That's all. Best of luck to you regardless....

Disappointed in me? Why? I believe marriage is a partnership. Decisions are to be made together, and the size of the family is a pretty big decision.

I just think one person, whether it be the husband or the wife, shouldn't have sole authority over something like that.

And, I love your face.

Yup.

She changed her mind...she doesn't want more kids.

She is honest and told him the truth.

What he decides to do with this truth is up to him.

But at this point she has done everything she needs to do.

Maybe he can convince her to compromise and have one more, maybe not.

But screaming how he is going to go find a trusted "side piece" to breed with...

tells me everything I need to know about the OP and his investment in his marriage.

most women have chemicals that make them forget how painful it was (which is some have more than 1) sorry your wife has a shortage of this chemical in her.

I'm having same issue except that we never discussed having multiple. Our one son is 5 years old and I really want another. Wife doesn't want her body getting destroyed (apparently after the second kid is harder to get your figure back).

Also, our son has been really needy and difficult his whole life.

It does if you're lazy and neglect your body.

ah, now she can use the tried and true "chemical imbalance" excuse, that was my ex's get out of jail free card for being an a-hole 24/7

Your wife is doing the same thing to you that I'm doing to my wife. We discussed more, but I got my boy first, so I'm done. Wife wants more... Maybe we should swap, she hot?? Got pics.....

Yea, you are so off base, I question your intelligence. We'll just leave it at, and you can review my other posts in the thread to get a sense of my personal position, rather than using a statement on general sentiments circulating the general population regarding birth and the pendulum swinging wildly to the other side of the reproductive rights issue.

As someone else mentioned, it would be helpful to know the age of your first child. My wife said hell no to more kids for the first year after each(we have 3). About 18 months to 2 years after she began talking about another one. Get your first one
sleeping all night, baby teeth in in, out of diapers and walking/talking and she'll likely bring it up herself.

Wow, i told my OL, that a dog would be our only child/children

I do not have any patience, none at all. Kids annoy me, and to have a kid, just to have one would be stupid. Seriously, when i'm around kids and they start crying because they do not get their way, i feel like curb stomping all of them.

I'm a great Uncle to my Nephew, but 4 hours is all i can take of him.

I'll end up being a super bitter jerkoff when i'm old. "get off my grass"
