Those have siping added, though I'm sure the compound is likely different as well.

Yeah probably so. I ran a few sets, and while they weren't particularly good in the mud, they performed well on the road, dirt, and gravel.

I switched away from BFG after a bad tread failure - I have been running the Discoverer S/T Maxx - it has a similar tread pattern to the new BFG - I really like the coopers.

Of the various tires I've had, the AT/KO's were hands down the worst in mud.
