I don't eat at either of these. If I have to choose a fast food place I'd get Wendy's. Their chicken sandwiches aren't bad.

McDonalds has the best 'chicken' sandwich. No other place compares.
McDonalds Breakfast > anyone else's
McDonalds fries > BK's 100%. I've never met a person to say BK fries are better
McDonalds nuggets > BK's, especially the 1.49 one. Jeez it tastes so nasty
BK Whopper > McDonalds quarter pounder
McDonalds Big Mac > BK Big King or whatever

Used to like the king, but they've become horse shite in my town. Just straight garbage here now. McDonald's is at least consistently a step above horse shite.

I work 7p-7a, so this post is geared toward that fact….
McDonalds (specifically the one on Essen) is the only place that has REPEATEDLY forgotten to put the meat on my sandwich. However, the breakfast is exponentially better than BK.
I definitely prefer a whopper with cheese over anything McD's has to offer. The issue with BK is that once the sun goes down (despite being "open" 24 hours), they will find ANY reason to not have to make your food, and "Burgers for Breakfast" is only if they feel like it and if they feel like working at the time (which is never). The usual response is, "our computers are down at this time."
The only hassle-free fast food places to go to now are Chik-fil-a and Cane's

This. I haven't set foot in a BK in years because they're pretty universal in their terrible customer service and food, which sucks because I prefer the Whopper to the BM. I think the problem is that they franchise out to a lot of people who have no business running a restaurant.
They need to do what Dominos did a few years ago and launch a campaign owning up to being terrible and go back to the drawing board on everything except the Whopper. It worked out for Dominos.
