Yeah, but the Spurs are unbelievably well coached, and that system brings the best out of players

And they lost to some German team a week or two ago with their key guys playing pretty significant minutes. To take anything meaningful out of preseason is normally a pretty shitty way of thinking.

I put the "is" because some people on ESPN say it that way, and it is technically the grammatically correct way. Heat is a singular noun.

I hope they meet Cleveland in the playoffs. Would be great TV
Would probably be the highest rated 8-1 matchup ever

They'll still make the playoffs and will have a winning record. If that's bad I'm sure they'll take it.

remember... right before the big 3 joined up... he was well on his way out of Miami
Didn't they win 45 games and go to the playoffs with DWade and a bunch of scrubs, surpassing season expectations the year before?

Didn't the Spurs almost beat the Heat last year when they sat the majority of their starters? I think the Heat beat some playoff teams from the west ( maybe the Spurs) with dwade and Lebron sitting. And these were in the regular season.

2 years ago the Spurs sat their starters on a thursday night TNT game and almost upset the Heat.

The next year, the Heat sat all of their starters vs the Spurs during a reg season game and DID pull the upset.

shite happens, any shite team in the NBA can beat the #1 team in the league on any given night.

The Heat will be worse this year, no doubt. Still probably a top 5 seed in the East. It all depends on how many games D Wade can play.
